AirPayment
Know the moment someone buys.Every sale checked against Apple’s signature.
AirPayment records the in-app purchases of the app you build in AirBuild and tells your team about each sale. Apple takes the payment. You don’t run a server.
Free with AirBuild.
How it works
- 1
Turn it on
Ask the AI in your AirBuild project to add AirPayment. It adds one Swift file to your app. No SDK, no server.
- 2
Someone buys
Apple takes the payment, as always. Your app then sends AirPayment the transaction Apple signed, with the app version and device.
- 3
You see the sale
AirPayment checks Apple’s signature and records the sale once, with its price. Your team gets a notification.
Questions
Is AirPayment free?
Yes. AirPayment is free with AirBuild.
Does AirPayment take payments?
No. Apple takes the payment, as with any in-app purchase. AirPayment records the sale after Apple has made it.
Can someone send a fake sale?
AirPayment accepts only transactions Apple signed for your app’s bundle ID; anything else is refused. A sale reported twice is recorded once.
Can it get in the way of a purchase?
No. AirPayment doesn’t unlock anything or finish the transaction; your app does that as before. If a report doesn’t get through, say the phone is offline, that sale may be missing from AirPayment. The purchase itself goes through.
What does it learn about the buyer?
Your app sends Apple’s signed transaction plus the app version, build, system version and device model. It adds no name, email or other buyer ID. AirPayment keeps the sale’s details, not the signed transaction itself.
Do TestFlight purchases show up?
Yes, marked Sandbox, with a notification like any other sale. They never count toward revenue.
How do I know it works?
Buy something on a real device, through TestFlight or with a sandbox account. Purchases made in the Simulator with an Xcode StoreKit file are refused on purpose: Apple didn’t sign them.
Which apps does it work with?
iPhone and iPad apps built in AirBuild that sell with Apple’s in-app purchases.
